Balajiamrut Builders and Promoters Private Limited is up on the 7th floor of Estate Plaza. We are tucked right behind Mangal Tower on HB Road in the Kantatol area of Ranchi. It’s a busy part of the city, so there’s always noise and people moving around. Getting up to the 7th floor takes a minute if the lift is slow, which happens more often than we’d like. Our office is a bit crowded with rolls of paper and samples of tiles and bricks. We’ve been working in Ranchi for quite a while now. We help people find places to live or help them build their own spots. It's not always smooth sailing. Dealing with permits and city regulations in a place like Ranchi can be a real headache. We spend a lot of time on the phone or running from one office to another. We aren't a massive corporation with hundreds of employees. We’re just a dedicated group trying to get things built right. Sometimes we stay late when a deadline is coming up, eating cold food at our desks. We don't have a fancy reception area. If you come by, you’ll probably see us arguing over a set of drawings or checking the latest costs. We try to keep things simple and honest. If a project is going to be delayed, we tell people. There’s no point in sugarcoating it. We just keep working until the job is done. It’s a lot of long hours but seeing a building go up is worth it.
