Amrik Hotel

Our hotel is located on Purulia Road in Ranchi, which is a pretty central part of town. We are very close to the Pantaloons, so there’s always a lot of people walking by and cars looking for parking. The hotel isn't one of those glass-and-steel modern buildings; it’s more of a traditional place that’s been here for years. We have regular rooms for people who are in town for business or visiting relatives. It gets pretty hectic in the mornings when everyone is trying to check out and have breakfast at the same time. The staff here is small, and we all end up doing a bit of everything, from carrying bags to helping in the kitchen. Purulia Road is never really quiet, so you get used to the city sounds. We try to keep the rooms tidy and the linens fresh, though some of the plumbing is a bit older and needs a bit of care. It’s a straightforward business for us. We aren't promising anything fancy, just a place to sleep and a hot meal in a convenient location. Most of our guests are regulars who have been staying with us whenever they come to Ranchi. We like seeing the same faces every few months and hearing how their families are doing. It’s just a local hotel run by people who live right here in the neighborhood and know how the city works.
