We are tucked away on the corner of Street No. 20 in the Samrat Industrial Area. If you find Silver Motors Ltd on the main road, we are just a short walk from there. It’s an industrial spot, so there is always a lot of noise from the other factories and the heavy trucks passing by. We make things here. It’s dusty and there is usually grease on the floor, but that is part of the job. We started Yantra Manufacturers because there was a need for local parts that didn't take forever to arrive. We have a few old machines that still run better than the new ones we bought last year. My nephew helps me with the paperwork, though he prefers being out on the floor with the tools. We don't have a receptionist, so if the phone rings and we’re busy, it might take a minute to answer. We just do the work as it comes in. Most of our day is spent measuring things and making sure the cuts are right. It’s not a glamorous life, but we take pride in the pieces that leave our shop. We’ve had the same neighbors for a decade, and we all look out for each other. If you need to see us, just come to the corner and look for the open gate. We’ll be there in the back near the grinders.
