Advay Engineers

Our small workshop is located at Shed No 23 on Plot No.13. We are right near the Panch Complex in Shapar, which is a place that always has something going on. If you know the Panch Pipla Complex, we are just a short walk away from there. We do engineering work, mostly handling metal parts and different components for machines. It is not the cleanest job in the world. You will see shavings on the floor and oil on the benches most of the time. We aren't trying to be a polished company with a big reception area. If you come to see us, you’ll likely find us right there at the machines. The shed gets pretty warm in the summer, so we keep the big doors open to let in whatever air we can get. We have a small group of workers who know their way around a lathe and a drill press. We don't have any fancy missions or slogans. We just look at the drawings and try to make the metal match what the customer asked for. Sometimes things go wrong and we have to start over, but that is just part of the engineering life. We have a small table in the corner where we eat our lunch and listen to the radio. It’s a simple, practical life here in Shapar, and we are happy to just keep doing our work every day without too much fuss.
