Vivek Engineering Works

Vivek Engineering Works is based at No. 150 Ring Road. The exact location is Survey No. 65 along Vavdi Road. It is a bit of an industrial area, so there is always a lot of heavy vehicles and dust moving around. Our workshop is a big open space with high ceilings. It gets quite loud when the machines are running, so we usually have to shout to be heard. We do not mind it much. It is just the sound of work being done. There is a small office area tucked in the corner where we keep the books and take phone calls. It is usually covered in dust no matter how much we clean it. Being on Vavdi Road means we have plenty of space for bigger jobs. We see a lot of different people coming through for various engineering needs. It is a practical environment. We do not have fancy furniture or air conditioning in the main area. We just have our tools and our machines. Most of us have been working here for years. We know the machines better than we know ourselves sometimes. The Ring Road is always busy, which is good for getting things moved in and out. We start early when it is still a bit cool and try to get the heavy stuff done before the midday heat hits. It is a simple life, but it keeps us busy and the business keeps running.
