Phoenix Cnc is located at Plot No. G2711/A in Gidc Lodhika. It’s out in the Metoda area, which is a bit of a drive if you’re coming from the main part of the city. Usually, the commute involves heading down Kalawad Road. It’s a long stretch of tarmac, and by the time you reach Metoda, you’re ready to get to work. The GIDC is a massive place, and finding a specific plot like G2711/A can be tricky for newcomers because the numbers aren’t always in the order you expect. Our workshop is filled with the sound of the CNC machines running their cycles. There’s a specific smell of coolant and metal shavings that stays with you even after you leave. We don’t have a fancy reception area. You just walk in and you’re pretty much in the middle of everything. It’s a busy atmosphere with people checking measurements and adjusting the machines. The weather in Metoda can be quite harsh, either very dusty or very muddy depending on the season, so we spend a lot of time cleaning the equipment. We aren't big on talk; we just look at the drawings and get the metal cut. Most of the guys have been here long enough that they know the machines better than they know their own cars. It’s a solid place to work, and we just keep our heads down and do the job.
