We spend most of our time out here at Plot No. 8-A in Jambudiya. If you’ve ever driven down the National Highway near the Dariyala Resort, you probably passed right by us without thinking much of it. It gets pretty dusty out here with all the traffic and the wind, but that’s just how it is when you’re working with stone every day. We’ve been at this spot for a while now, keeping the yard organized and making sure the granite stays in good shape. It isn't a fancy setup by any means. We have the slabs lined up, and we spend our mornings checking the stock and talking to drivers who pull in off the highway. People usually find us because they saw the sign while heading somewhere else or because a neighbor told them we had what they needed for their project. It’s hard work, moving these heavy pieces around and making sure nothing gets chipped. Sometimes the heat gets to be a lot, especially in the afternoons, but we just keep at it until the job is done. We don't have a big team or anything, just a few of us who know how to handle the material. Usually, a customer walks in with a rough idea of what they want, and we just show them what’s currently sitting in the yard. It’s straightforward. We don't do much talking, we just show the stone and let people decide for themselves. That’s how we’ve always done things here.
