About Gunatit Granite – Building & Construction Material in Rajkot
Our yard is out at Survey No. 238 on Plot-5. If you are coming this way, we are right behind the Murlidhar Weight Bridge. It’s easy to find because you’ll see the big slabs of stone stacked up from the road. We are also near Vikas Stove, which is another landmark people use. It’s heavy work moving granite around. We use the cranes a lot because these pieces are too big for anyone to lift. Water is everywhere because we have to keep the blades cool while cutting. The mud gets on your boots and stays there. It’s a bit messy, but that’s the nature of working with stone. We’ve got different types of granite sitting around in piles. Some have been here for a week, others for months. People come by to look at the patterns, and we just let them walk around the stacks. The sun hits the polished surfaces and can be quite blinding in the afternoon. We mostly deal with local builders and guys doing home renovations. The weight bridge stays busy, so there’s a constant sound of heavy engines idling nearby. We don’t have a fancy showroom, just the outdoor space and a small shack for keeping the tools dry. It’s a straightforward business of cutting stone to size and loading it up for delivery whenever the trucks show up.
