Shri Krishna Granite

Our yard is located at Surve No. 98/1/8, specifically Plot No. 18 in Navagam. It is quite close to Chotila, and you can see the hills in the distance on a clear day. We are also near Cadila Fules, so there are always tankers passing by on the main road. At Shri Krishna Granite, we spend most of our time moving heavy slabs of stone around. The ground is always covered in a fine layer of granite dust, no matter how much we try to clean it. We have a big crane for the heavy lifting and some cutting saws that make a real racket when they are running. The sun gets really hot out here in Navagam, so we wear hats and try to stay in the shade of the sheds when we can. It’s a physical job, and by the end of the day, everyone is pretty tired. We don't have a big sales team or a showroom with lights. People just come to the plot, look at the stone stacks, and pick what they need. We’ve got different types of granite piled up, some rough and some polished. The office is just a small room with a table and a couple of ledgers to keep track of the inventory. It’s a straightforward business. We wake up, cut stone, load trucks, and go home. Being near Chotila means we get a lot of wind, which helps with the heat sometimes.
