Vertex Engineer

Vertex Engineer is located at Plot No. G-814/ B in Gidc Metoda. This is way out in the Rajkot district, so it’s a lot of open space and industrial plots. It’s a long drive from the main city, but this is where the factories are. We do fabrication and some mechanical work. The plot is quite big, which is lucky because we need the room for the raw materials. It’s mostly steel and iron lying around. We have a small office in the corner of the shed, but most of the time we are out on the floor. It gets really dusty when the wind blows across Metoda. We don’t have any fancy brochures. If someone wants to see what we do, they just come by and look at the projects we’re currently working on. We’ve got some old machines that still run better than the new ones. It’s a tough job, especially in the heat, but we’ve been doing it for a long time. We know the other business owners around the GIDC. We help each other out with tools or supplies when someone runs short. It’s a good community. We aren't corporate people. We talk plain and we work hard. If a job is too big for us, we say so. We just keep things moving one day at a time, trying to get the orders shipped out on time without any fuss. It’s not a glamorous life, but it’s what we know.
