We are located right on the 8-A National Highway in Dhuva. If you have ever driven through this part of Gujarat, you know it is the heart of the ceramic and stone industry. Our place is huge because dealing with granito and tiles requires a lot of space for the kilns and the storage yards. It is a dusty, busy environment where trucks are constantly coming in from the highway or heading out to different parts of the country. Varmora Granito is a big operation, but when you are on the ground here, it feels more like a giant workshop. There is always the sound of machinery and the smell of fired clay in the air. We don't have a polished showroom with fancy lights here at the factory site. It’s more about the raw materials and the production lines. Our office is functional, meant for keeping track of the massive amounts of stock we move. It gets very hot out here on the highway, and the sun beats down on the sheds all day. We spend our time making sure the machines are running and the loading is happening on schedule. It isn't a glamorous life, but it is what we do. Dhuva is a tough place to work but there is a lot of energy here. We just focus on the daily tasks of running a big plant and getting things shipped out to our customers.
