Swastik Engineering

The shop is right here at No. 1/10 in Uday Nagar. If you know Mavdi Main Road, we are easy to spot because Shayog Hospital is just across from us. Most days start early when the shutters go up. Swastik Engineering has been in this spot for a good while now. It gets noisy with the machines running, but that is just how the day goes. We spend a lot of time on the shop floor dealing with whatever work comes in. Sometimes the grease gets everywhere, and the floor is never really as clean as we want it to be. People stop by to ask about parts or just to see if we can fix something that broke. It is a busy road, so there is always traffic passing by the front door. We keep the tools organized, or at least we try to. Some days are longer than others, especially when a big job needs finishing. The tea guy comes around twice a day, which is a nice break from the welding and cutting. We just stay focused on the metal and the measurements. Being near the hospital means it is a landmark everyone knows. We do not have fancy office chairs or air conditioning in the back. It is just a regular workshop where things get made. Sometimes the rain leaks a little near the side door, but we just move the stuff and keep going. That is how it is at Swastik Engineering on Mavdi Main Road.
