Sri Raghavendra Industries

Our workshop is at 4/63, Samruddhi Bhavan, right opposite the Bombay Petrol Pump on Gondal Road. If you know Rajkot, you know this road is always moving. We’ve got the sound of traffic as our background music all day long. Sri Raghavendra Industries is basically a small engineering unit. We have a few lathes and some drill presses that have seen better days but still work perfectly fine. We don’t have a reception area with a coffee machine. If you come by, you’ll probably find us in greasy overalls working on a component. We take on all kinds of small-scale industrial jobs. Sometimes it’s a specific part for a pump, other times it’s a bit of welding for a local contractor. We don’t have a big corporate hierarchy. I’m the one who answers the phone, and I’m also the one who checks the finished parts before they go out. It’s a lot of work, and the heat in the shop can be pretty intense during the summer months. We try to keep things organized, but when we have a big order, the floor gets covered in metal shavings. We like the community here on Gondal Road. The guys from the petrol pump come over for a chat sometimes, and we all help each other out. We just focus on doing the job right so the customer doesn't have to come back with complaints. It’s just us, our tools, and the daily grind.
