Space Impex Pvt. Ltd. is located up on the 3rd floor of the Radha Chamber, right at Aston Chowk. It’s a busy intersection, so there is always a lot of noise coming up from the street. We handle import and export stuff, which basically means we spend most of our time on the phone or typing away at the computer. The office is a bit crowded with files and samples of things we move back and forth. It’s not the kind of place where you’ll find expensive furniture. We have our desks and our chairs, and that is about it. Being on the third floor means we get a bit of a view, but we are usually too busy to look out the window. There’s a lot of coordination involved in what we do, making sure things arrive on time and that the paperwork is correct for the customs people. Sometimes a shipment gets delayed and things get a bit stressful, but we just deal with it as it comes. It’s a small team here and we’ve worked together for a good while. We don’t try to make it sound more exciting than it is. It’s just logistics and trading. We show up, do the work, and go home. If you are ever at Aston Chowk, you can see our building, it’s a pretty standard commercial spot. We just focus on getting the goods from point A to point B.
