S.P. Engineering Works

Over at S.P. Engineering Works, we operate out of Shed No 5 and 6 in Shivam Estate. We are right by Patel Chowk on Dhedar Road South in the Atika area. It’s a busy part of town, and finding our shed for the first time can be a little tricky if you don't know the landmarks. We spend most of our time inside the sheds, dealing with various engineering tasks and repairs. The floor is usually covered in a bit of oil and metal shavings, which is pretty standard for a place like this. We don’t have a fancy reception area. Usually, you’ll just find us near the machines or sitting on a wooden bench taking a quick tea break. The Atika area has a lot of small shops like ours, so there’s a constant buzz of activity all around Patel Chowk. We’ve been in these sheds for several years now, and the walls are starting to show their age, but the equipment inside works just fine. Dealing with the heat in the afternoon is probably the hardest part of the job. We just try to get through the orders we have on the books. Sometimes we stay late when a job is urgent, and other times it’s a bit quieter. It’s just me and a few workers trying to make things work. We don't do much advertising; people mostly find us by word of mouth or by wandering into the estate.
