You can find Sonar Machine Tool over in the Samrat Industrial Area. We are situated on Dr. Vikram Sarabhai Marg, right off Gondal Road. It’s a noisy area, as you’d expect with all the workshops and factories nearby. Our place is full of the smell of oil and the sound of metal being worked on. We’ve been at this spot for years, and the floor is a bit stained from all the machine work, but that’s just how it goes in this trade. We focus on tools and machines, nothing more, nothing less. Most of our day is spent at the lathes or checking the precision of a part. It’s hard work and your hands usually end up dirty by noon. The guys here aren't much for small talk; they’d rather be fixing a tool or figuring out why a machine is vibrating too much. Gondal Road is always busy with trucks bringing in raw materials and taking out finished pieces. We like being part of the Samrat Industrial Area because everything we need is close by. It’s not a fancy office with air conditioning in every corner, but it’s where the work gets done right. We just take it one job at a time and try to keep the machines running smooth for our regulars. It is a bit loud and messy, but it is exactly where we belong and what we know how to do.
