This branch of Simms Engineering Pvt Ltd is located in Rajkot. We’ve been here for a bit now, set up in this part of Gujarat because there's always something needing fixing or building around here. Rajkot is a busy town for manufacturing and we fit right in with the rest of the workshops. Our space isn't huge, just enough for the machines we need and a bit of storage. It’s a lot of metal and oil smells most days. We don’t bother with much paperwork besides what’s absolutely necessary to keep the tax man happy. We’d rather be working on the floor than sitting at a desk. The guys here have been doing this for a long time. We don't have any formal mission statements written on the walls. We just come in, see what needs to be done, and get to it. Sometimes we stay late if a project is behind, and other times we head out early when it’s slow. It’s a flexible way to work. We don't have a big corporate office in some glass building. Our office is just a corner with a computer and a dusty phone. We like it that way because it keeps things simple. If you need something engineered, you just come talk to us. We’re just local people doing a job we’ve learned over many years. It's nothing fancy, just hard work.
