Sialon Engineers

Working out of Veraval Shapar Industrial Area isn't always easy because of the heat and the constant noise of the machines. Sialon Engineers is tucked in right near Ravi Technoforge Pvt. Ltd., so there are always big trucks moving around Gondal Road. Most days we are just busy with the engineering side of things, dealing with parts and designs that come across the desk. The office isn't anything special, just a place where we can sit and think or talk to the guys on the floor. You can hear the rhythmic thumping of the forge next door through the walls, which you get used to after a week or so. We spend a lot of time checking measurements and making sure the metal is right. Lunch usually happens at the small canteen down the street or sometimes we just bring tiffins from home and eat quickly before getting back to it. The dust from the road gets everywhere, no matter how much we sweep. It’s a practical setup we have here. We don’t go in for fancy carpets or expensive furniture because it wouldn’t last long in this environment anyway. It is just a regular workshop where we do our engineering tasks and try to keep things moving. When the power goes out, we usually just take a break outside and watch the traffic on the main road for a bit until things start up again. It’s a noisy life but it keeps us busy.
