Ghanshyam Eng. Mech. Pvt. Ltd. is situated out at Survey No. 252 in Shapar. We are right opposite the Pitrukrupa Hotel on Jain Steel Road. Shapar is a heavy industrial area, so there is always the sound of machines and hammers in the distance. Our place is basically a big workshop with an office attached to it. It’s a very practical environment. We deal with mechanical engineering stuff, so there’s always oil and metal shavings on the floor. It’s not the cleanest place in the world, but it’s where the work happens. The heat in Veraval can be quite something, especially in the middle of the afternoon. We usually take our breaks when it gets too hot to move. The Pitrukrupa Hotel is where we go if we want a proper meal, otherwise, it’s just snacks at the workshop. Jain Steel Road is always busy with heavy trucks carrying raw materials. We’ve been operating here for a good while. Our office is just a simple room with some old chairs and a lot of ledgers. We don't really do much in the way of decoration. The focus is always on the machines and getting the parts right. It’s a tough, honest kind of job and we are used to the noise and the grit. It’s just a local business doing its thing in the industrial belt.
