We are over at Plot No K-1/5 in AJI GIDC. If you take Road H, you’ll find us. It’s usually pretty loud around here because of the machines running all day. Jyoti Engimech Pvt Ltd isn’t a very big place, but there’s always something going on. Most mornings start with moving things around to make space. The guys get here early and the shutters go up around eight. You can see the dust in the light coming through the high windows. It’s an industrial area, so there’s a lot of truck traffic and noise from the neighbors too. We’ve got some heavy equipment that needs constant attention. Sometimes the floor gets messy with metal scraps or oil, but that’s just how it goes when you’re working with this kind of stuff. We spend a lot of time looking at drawings and measuring things out. It isn’t always clean or quiet. Sometimes a machine breaks down and everyone has to stop what they’re doing to fix it. That can take hours. Then there are the days when everything runs just fine and we get through the pile of work on the bench. We eat our lunch sitting near the back where it’s a bit cooler. AJI GIDC is a busy spot, and Road H gets pretty backed up in the evenings. We usually lock up once the sun starts going down and the light gets dim. It’s just what we do every day.
