You can find us on Gondal Road in Rajkot, right across from Lathia Garage. Sarveshwar Engineering has been operating from this workshop for quite some time now. Rajkot is a big hub for this kind of engineering work, so we fit right in with the rest of the shops on the street. We do engineering work, which basically means a lot of cutting, welding, and fixing things that people bring in. The floor is always a bit greasy, and there is usually the sound of a grinder going somewhere in the back. It’s not a fancy place, but it gets the job done. We have a small team of workers who know their way around a lathe and a welding torch. Sometimes the heat in the workshop gets to be a bit much, but we just drink a lot of water and keep going until the shift is over. Customers drop off parts that need fixing or ask us to make something specific from a hand-drawn sketch. We don't have a big front desk or a receptionist. Usually, one of us just wipes our hands on a rag and goes out to talk to whoever just pulled up in their truck. It’s a practical way to run a business. We focus on the metal and the machines and leave the corporate stuff to others. We’ve been here long enough that people just know us by name and stop in for a chat or to ask about a repair.
