Prime Engineering

You can find us over at Plot Number 2 in the Jay Siyaram Industrial Estate. We are right on National Highway 8B, not far from the Bansidhar Way Bridge near the Kothariya Ring Road. It’s a heavy industrial area, so there is always the sound of trucks and machinery in the background. We spend a lot of time on the shop floor dealing with different engineering tasks. There is always grease and some metal scraps around, which is just how it is in this line of work. We aren't trying to be anything we aren't. It’s mostly about getting the specs right and making sure the machines are running okay. Sometimes we stay late when a job is halfway done and we don't want to leave it for the next morning. The heat from the machines makes the shed quite warm in the afternoon. We usually have lunch together in the small area we cleared out in the back. It’s a straightforward business. We see a lot of people passing by on the highway, but mostly it's just us and the other industrial shops nearby. We’ve got our tools, our benches, and the daily list of what needs fixing or making. It’s hard work, but it’s what we do. Prime Engineering is just a group of us working hard in a busy part of town. We keep the machines oiled and the floors as clean as an engineering shop can be. There is always a lot to do before we lock up.
