Polo Gres Tiles Pvt. Ltd. is situated out on the No. 8 A National Highway. We are at Post- Dhuva in the Wankaner Taluka. Out here, the wind blows quite a bit and you can see the highway traffic moving all day long. It is a big industrial area, so there are always trucks carrying materials back and forth. Our place is simple and built for work. We have a lot of space for the tiles, which is necessary when you’re dealing with the amounts we handle. The weather in Wankaner can get pretty hot, so we usually have the fans going full blast in the office. It’s not a corporate headquarters with glass walls. It’s a sturdy building meant for business. I spend a lot of time checking on the shipments and making sure the loading is happening correctly. Sometimes the rain makes the dirt around the highway a bit messy, but we just deal with it. Living and working near Dhuva means you get to know everyone else on the highway. We drink a lot of tea and talk about the day's work. It is a straightforward operation. No big speeches or fancy logos everywhere, just stacks of tiles and people getting them where they need to go. We’ve been here for a while and the routine stays pretty much the same. It is hard work but we are used to the pace by now.
