Piyush Engineering Works

Out in the Dindayal Industrial Area, you’ll find us near Hotel Gamara on National Highway No. 8 - B. This part of Aji Vasahat is really the heart of the local engineering scene in Rajkot. At Piyush Engineering Works, the day starts pretty early to beat the worst of the afternoon heat. We are right on the highway, so there’s a constant stream of trucks and buses roaring past our gates. Inside, the shop is filled with the smell of oil and the sound of lathes turning. It’s an old-school engineering setup. We don't have a marketing department or a website guy; we just have a few experienced hands who know how to work the machines. Usually, we take our breaks over at the local tea stall or near the hotel if we want something more. The floor is always a bit greasy, and there are metal shavings everywhere, but that’s just a sign that we’re actually getting work done. We don’t go in for big speeches about quality or service. We just take the drawings we’re given and try to turn out the parts as accurately as the machines allow. Sometimes a machine breaks down and we spend the whole afternoon covered in grease trying to fix it ourselves. It’s practical, greasy work, and we’ve been doing it this way for a long time without needing to change much about how we operate daily. It's just a regular engineering life.
