Pearl Cnc

Our place, Pearl Cnc, is over on Road K at Plot No G-2024. It’s near the Kishan Gate in Metoda G.I.D.C. If you’ve ever been to this industrial zone, you know how busy it gets with all the noise. We have a few CNC machines that run most of the day. The sound is pretty constant, a sort of hum and whir that you get used to after a week or so. I spend a lot of my time looking at screens and adjusting the settings on the machines. It’s precise work, so you can't really rush it. The floor is concrete and stays pretty cool even when it’s hot outside. We don’t have a fancy office upstairs, just a small desk near the entrance where we keep the logs. My nephew helps with the programming, and we have a couple of guys who handle the loading and unloading. It’s a straightforward operation. We don’t spend money on fancy brochures or anything like that. People come to us because they need parts made. Sometimes we stay late when a machine acts up or a deadline is tight. We mostly just drink our chai and keep an eye on the tool paths. The gate is easy to spot once you turn onto Road K. It’s just a regular metal shop doing what needs to be done every day. We just try to keep things moving and get the orders out on time for everyone.
