Patel Machining

We are located out at Survey No 265 in Village Shapar. It’s right off the Rajkot Gondal highway, NH8 B. If you’re driving that way, you know it’s a lot of industrial activity and dust out here. We’ve got our machining setup here in a building that’s seen plenty of work over the years. We do a lot of turning and milling for various projects. The dust from the highway sometimes blows in when the wind is high, so we’re always having to wipe down the workbenches. Being in Shapar means we see a lot of the same faces from other local workshops every day. We all kind of know each other around here. It’s definitely not a quiet place, especially when the heavy trucks are rolling by on the NH8. We started out small and just kept adding a machine here and there when we could finally afford it. We don’t have a fancy lobby or a receptionist for visitors. If you come by to see us, you’ll probably find us covered in grease or checking a part against a blueprint under a dim light. We do work for various clients, mostly local stuff that needs doing. Sometimes the power goes out for a bit and we just sit around and wait for it to come back on. It’s just part of life in the village area. We just focus on the metal and making sure the cuts are clean. It’s a straightforward business.
