Omex Engineering

If you head down Gondal Road and look behind the NK TVS showroom, you'll find us at Vaidvadi. Omex Engineering is at 2/4, which is a fairly straightforward workshop. We’ve got the usual setup with lathes, drills, and a lot of scrap metal piled up in the corners. The floor is concrete and definitely shows the years of work we’ve put in. It’s a dusty part of town, so we’re always wiping down the machines before we start in the morning. We don’t really do much marketing; most people just hear about us from other shops in the area. The guys here are good at what they do, even if we don't talk much while the machines are humming. We usually start early to beat the worst of the afternoon heat. There’s a small tea stall just a short walk away that we visit twice a day for a break. The work is mostly about precision and making sure the dimensions are what the customer asked for. We don’t have a fancy website or a bunch of salespeople. It’s just us, the tools, and the metal. When things get busy, the whole place feels a bit cramped, but we always manage to get the orders out on time. It’s a simple life, focused on engineering and making sure the machines stay in good shape for the next day's work. It’s not much, but it’s ours.
