Nishant Mechanical Works

Nishant Mechanical Works is located deep inside the G.I.D.C. area at Metoda. To be exact, we are at Plot No. 2022 on Road No. 3. It’s right in the Alight Astet, opposite where High Cone is. Getting here can be a bit of a trek because Kishan Gate is usually backed up with trucks. The industrial estate is massive, and it feels like there is a new factory opening up every other month. Our shop is just one of many, but we have our own way of doing things. We handle mechanical work, mostly stuff that requires a lot of patience and some heavy wrenches. It gets incredibly hot in the summer under the tin roof, but we have a couple of fans that keep the air moving a little. We spend most of our time on the shop floor, so the small office we have is mostly just for keeping papers and having a quick lunch. The address sounds complicated with all the 'At. Metoda' and 'Lodhika' bits, but once you’re on Kalawad Road, it’s not too hard to find the right turn. It’s a loud place to work with the sound of machines from the neighbors, but it’s productive. We’ve been at this plot for a while, and the routine hasn't changed much over the years. Just work, tea, and more work.
