Our shop is located at Plot Number 7, Sr No 34, and it’s been our home for Mihir Machine Tools (Gujarat) Pvt.Ltd for quite some time now. Being in Gujarat, the environment is always geared towards manufacturing and getting things built. We focus on machine tools which means we spend a lot of time around lathes and drills. The workspace is usually covered in metal shavings and the smell of cutting oil is everywhere. It’s not a clean office job, that’s for sure. We have a small group of guys who really understand how these machines tick. Sometimes a part doesn't fit right and we have to spend hours tweaking it. That is just how it goes with machine tools. We don't have a marketing department or anyone to write fancy brochures. We just show up, look at the blueprints, and start cutting metal. The address is a bit tucked away, but the regulars know exactly where to turn off the main road. We’ve had some of the same customers for years because they know we are just regular people who know their trade. Some days the machines act up and it’s a headache, but we usually figure it out by the end of the day. It’s a slow and steady kind of business. We aren't trying to change the world, just trying to make tools that do what they are supposed to do.
