Masko Tech Engineers

Masko Tech Engineers is located right by the Bhaktinagar Station Plot, so we hear the trains coming and going all day long. It is a busy little spot at number 12. Most of what we do involves getting our hands dirty with fabrication and engineering tasks that people bring us. We have a few lathes and some welding equipment that stay pretty busy from Monday to Saturday. Sometimes the rain leaks in a little near the back door, but we just move the crates out of the way and keep going. It is a practical kind of life here. We don’t have a marketing department or anyone to answer the phones with a script. You usually just get one of us who has been working on a machine. We talk to a lot of local guys who need parts fixed or something built from scratch. The air always has that bit of a metallic tang to it, and there is usually a stack of iron rods leaning against the wall waiting to be cut. We try to keep things organized, but in a small shop, things tend to pile up where they are most convenient. It is just how we work. We focus on the task at hand, finish it, and then move on to the next person waiting at the door. There is no point in making things complicated when a simple fix is all that is needed.
