Malay Engineering Works

Malay Engineering Works is located in the Balaji Industrial Area, right on Gondal Road. If you are looking for us, we are behind the Patel Chhatralay and quite close to the old Jakat Naka. It is a very busy area with a lot of noise from the road, but we have gotten used to it. Our workshop is where we spend the bulk of our day. We do all sorts of engineering tasks, from simple repairs to making custom parts that people cannot find elsewhere. We do not have a formal reception area. If you come by, you will likely see us in the middle of a job, probably with grease on our hands. We use old-school machines that are reliable and do exactly what we need them to do. We are not interested in having a corporate look or sounding like a big company. We are just a local shop where people can come and talk directly to the person doing the work. Sometimes we have to scratch our heads over a difficult problem, but we eventually figure it out. The guys working here have a lot of experience and do not need much direction. We just get on with the daily list of tasks. In the evenings, we clean up the tools and get ready to do it all again the next day. It is a straightforward way to live and work in this part of town.
