We are over at No. 18-A in Naval Nagar. If you know the area behind Swami Narayan Chowk on Gondal Road, that’s exactly where you’ll find our workshop. It isn’t the easiest place to spot from the main road, but once you get past the chowk, it’s right there. We spend most of our time here dealing with different engineering tasks. It’s mostly metal work and mechanical bits that keep us busy from morning until evening. The shop isn’t anything fancy. We have our lathes and tools spread out across the floor. It gets pretty loud when everything is running at once, but we’ve gotten used to it over the years. We usually start the day with a cup of tea from the stall at the corner. The neighborhood is full of other small businesses, so there is always some noise or activity. We don’t have a big corporate office or a sales team. It’s just us doing the work as it comes in. The walls are a bit greasy and there’s always iron filings on the floor, but that is how a real engineering place should look. We like being in this part of town because it’s practical. Gondal Road is always moving with traffic, which brings in different people. We just keep our heads down and focus on whatever project is on the bench that day. Sometimes it’s a small repair, and other times it’s a bigger fabrication job. We just handle it without making any fuss.
