The shop is right across from the ICICI bank here at Kissan Gate, so we see people going in and out of the bank all day while we are working. Being in Anmol Complex means we have neighbors on both sides, and it can get a bit tight when we get new stock delivered. Krishna Plastic And Kitchenware is full of stuff, mostly stacked up high because we don't have enough floor space for everything. We spend a lot of time moving buckets and containers around so people can walk through the aisles. Sometimes it feels like a puzzle trying to find a specific lid or a certain size of pot for someone. The morning sun hits the front window pretty hard, which makes the plastic items smell a certain way. It isn't bad, just a familiar scent of the shop. People usually stop by after they finish their business at the bank or when they are passing through the gate for other things. We keep a small stool near the back where we sit when things get quiet, but that doesn’t happen too often. The shelves are a bit old, and they creak when we put heavy things on them. My hands are usually a bit dusty from handling the boxes and the goods all day. We don't really have a system for the display, we just put things where they fit. It works for us, and the regulars know where to look. It’s just a normal shop in a busy complex.
