Nilkanth Engineering

We set up Nilkanth Engineering out in the Sambalpur Industrial Area at Plot No. 8 in Kothariya. Being near Rolex Bearing means there is always a lot of heavy truck traffic and the sound of big machinery nearby. Our shop is mostly focused on fabrication and repair work for the other factories around here. We have a couple of large lathes and a welding station that gets used every single day. The floor is concrete and always has some sort of grease or metal scrap on it. It’s not the kind of place you come if you want to stay clean. We start early in the morning, usually before the sun gets too high, because the metal sheds heat up like ovens by noon. We mostly deal with other business owners who need a specific part fixed or a frame welded together for their machines. We don't do much advertising because the people in Kothariya already know where we are. Usually, someone just drops off a heavy piece of iron and says they need it back by tomorrow. We do our best to get it done, even if we have to stay late and work by the light of the sparks. It’s a noisy life, but we like the feeling of making something solid with our own hands. We just keep our heads down and get the job done for whoever walks through the door.
