Kismat Enginerring Works

Kismat Enginerring Works is located at Plot No. G-1812/2 on Road-J. We are right by the Kishan Gate in the Metoda GIDC area of Lodhika, which is in the Rajkot district. If you’ve ever been to Metoda, you know it’s a huge industrial zone. Our plot is tucked away on Road-J. It’s a dusty place, especially when the winds pick up in Rajkot, but that’s the nature of an engineering shop. We have the machines set up on the main floor and a small cabin where we keep the books. We don’t spend money on fancy paint or expensive furniture. The money goes into the tools and keeping the machines running. It’s a loud place when we are in the middle of a job. Most of our guys have been with us for years. We start the day when the sun comes up and usually wrap up late. Being near Kishan Gate makes it easier for the trucks to find us, though the roads can be a bit bumpy. We don’t have a website or a big marketing plan. We just rely on the work we do. It’s a tough environment, but it’s what we know. We have our tea together in the afternoons and talk about the next project. It’s a simple, hardworking life here in the GIDC. I’ve lived in Rajkot all my life and I like the pace here.
