Khodiyar Engineering Foundry

Our foundry is over in Gidc, Aji Vasahat, right at Plot No. C-1/36. If you know the area, we are just opposite Dynamatic Forging and near Vikram Valves. It’s a busy corner of Rajkot. The foundry is usually hot and there is a lot of smoke and noise, which is normal for this kind of engineering work. We’ve been here for a while, and the neighbors all know us. It’s not the cleanest job in the world, your hands stay black most of the day, but it’s what we know how to do. We spend a lot of time by the furnaces and making sure the molds are ready. Sometimes we grab tea from the stall down the road when things slow down for a minute. The building isn't anything special to look at, just a sturdy place where we can get the casting work done. We don't spend money on big signs or fancy reception areas because that's not what the customers are looking for here. They just want their parts made. We keep our tools organized as best we can, though things usually get messy by noon. Dealing with the heat in the summer is the hardest part, but we’re used to it. We just show up, do the pours, and hope the electricity stays steady. It’s a simple life running a foundry in Rajkot, keeping the wheels of Khodiyar Engineering Foundry turning.
