Khoddiyar Engineering & Foundry

Khoddiyar Engineering & Foundry is over at Plot No. C-1-36 in Aji G.I.D.C. We are right across from Dynamatic Forgings, which is a big place everyone knows. Our shop has been here for a good while now. We do foundry work, mostly casting parts for machines and other industries around here. It’s hot and dusty work, especially in the middle of summer when the furnace is going full tilt. We don't have any fancy office or a polished showroom. It’s just the workshop and the yard where we keep the scrap and the finished pieces. Most of the guys working here have been with us for years, so they know the routine. We open up early and stay until the day's work is done. Sometimes we have a lot of orders and things get a bit messy, but we manage. We aren't much for talking or writing big advertisements. We just focus on the metal and the molds. If someone needs something made, they usually just walk in and ask. We’ve seen a lot of businesses come and go in Aji G.I.D.C., but we’ve stayed put at C-1-36. It’s a practical way to make a living. We don't use any high-tech gadgets for our books, just a simple ledger. It’s a bit old-fashioned, but it works for us. We just keep our heads down and do the work as it comes. We are just local people doing what we know best.
