Kawa Machine Tools

Kawa Machine Tools is located over in the GIDC Lodhika area in Metoda. We are at plot G-1209. If you drive around here, you will see it is mostly just factories and industrial sheds. It gets pretty hot in the summer, especially with all the metal and machines we have running inside the workshop. We have been operating from this spot for a while now. The work is mostly about handling different tools and making sure everything is measured correctly. It is a lot of manual work and checking things over and over. The floor is usually covered in some bit of grease or metal shavings by the end of the shift. We are not a big corporation with fancy uniforms; we just wear what is practical for a machine shop. Most of the guys here live nearby or commute from the city. We start the day by opening up the shutters and getting the power going. It is noisy and dusty, but that is just how things are in Metoda. We do not spend much time on decorations or making the front look pretty. We just keep the machines in good shape and make sure we have enough stock on the shelves. Sometimes the power goes out in the industrial zone, and we just wait it out or find something else to clean. It is a straightforward life here. We just show up, do the machining work, and head home when the sun goes down.
