Durga Enterprise

Our place, Durga Enterprise, is tucked away in the GIDC Lodhika area in Metoda. The address is a bit of a mouthful with all those plot numbers like G-411, 1002, 1922/1, and 1858, but we are right near Kishan Gate on Kalawad Road. It’s an industrial zone, so there is always the sound of machinery and trucks. We do a lot of manufacturing and heavy work here. It’s not the cleanest environment, but it’s where things get made. Most of us wear work boots and don't worry too much about getting grease on our shirts. The office part is small and mostly used for storing invoices and grabbing a quick lunch. We handle a lot of different metal parts and components throughout the week. Sometimes it gets incredibly hot in the summer, but the work doesn't stop. We aren't a corporate giant; we are just a bunch of people who know how to run machines and get orders out on time. If a machine breaks, we fix it ourselves. There’s a sense of pride in seeing a finished batch ready to ship. We don’t do fancy advertising. People in the GIDC know us because we’ve been around and we don't mess around with how well the parts are made. It’s a tough, honest way to make a living. We keep our tools sharp and our heads down. It might be loud and greasy, but it’s what we do.
