Kankai Tiles

Kankai Tiles is situated out here on Khirasara Road in Jetpur, which is part of the Rajkot district. If you’re heading towards the Saran Pul, you’ll see our place nearby. It gets quite dusty on this road with all the transport trucks moving through, but we’re used to it by now. We deal with tiles all day long, moving boxes and checking stock in the yard. It’s physical work and your hands usually end up pretty dirty by lunch. We aren't big on fancy slogans or marketing talk. Most of our day is spent talking to drivers and making sure things are loaded correctly. The sun can be quite harsh in Rajkot, so we usually take a bit of a break when it’s at its peak. Our setup is simple, just a warehouse and a small space for the paperwork. We don't have a team of sales people in suits. It’s just us and the tiles. People around here know us as a place where you can just walk in and see what’s available without any fuss. The bridge is a good landmark because people sometimes get lost on the way out of Jetpur. We’ve been at this for some time and we just take each day as it comes. It's a quiet enough existence, focused on the inventory and making sure the counts are right. No big mission, just keeping the business moving along the road.
