Kailash Tiles Mfg. Co.

We've been here at Rafadeswar for quite some time now, right on 8-A National Highway. It gets pretty loud with all the trucks passing by all day, but you get used to the noise after a while. Most of us here at Kailash Tiles Mfg. Co. have been working together for years. We just focus on making tiles. It's dusty work, and our clothes usually show it by the end of the shift. The factory isn't fancy or anything. It's just a big space where we get things done. Sometimes the power goes out, and we all just sit outside for a bit until it comes back on. That's just how it is. We start early in the morning when the air is still a bit cool. My desk is covered in samples and bits of stone. We don't really have a big office team, just a few of us handling the orders and the phones. If you stop by, you'll probably see a few stacks of finished tiles waiting to be loaded onto a lorry. We don't spend much time on the computer unless we really have to. Most of the business happens right there on the floor or over a cup of tea in the small side room. It’s a simple setup. We don't try to be something we aren't. We just make the tiles, load them up, and send them where they need to go. That's the whole story of our day, really.
