Jayendra Engineering Works

We spend most of our days here at Jayendra Engineering Works, right in the Harihar Building. It’s a busy area near the Patel Vihar Lodge. If you know Gondal Road, you know how it gets with all the noise and people moving about. We are specifically at the Vaid 1st Corner. The workshop is usually full of metal scraps and the sound of tools hitting against iron. It’s not a fancy place, just a regular shop where we get things done. Some mornings are slow and others are a total mess of work that needs finishing. We’ve been at this address for quite some time now. You’ll find us mostly covered in grease or dust because that’s just how the job is. The Harihar Building isn’t the newest place on the block, but it serves us well enough for what we do. We don’t have a big front office or anything like that. It’s just the floor where the machines are. Sometimes the tea guy comes around and that’s when we take a small break. Otherwise, we are just focused on the tasks at hand. People stop by asking for directions to the lodge or the corner, and we just point them the right way while we keep working. It’s a simple life here on Gondal Road. We don’t try to be something we aren't. The door is usually open, and the fans are always humming to keep the heat down a bit.
