Our shop is on Kothariya Main Road, right in Ghanshyam Nagar. If you know where Shital Studio is, we’re just opposite that. It’s a lively part of the neighborhood. We handle glass and tiles, so there’s always a bit of heavy lifting involved. The inventory takes up most of our space. We spend our time moving boxes and showing different tile patterns to folks who walk in. The dust from the road comes in sometimes, but we try to keep the displays clean enough to see. It’s not a quiet job. You hear the bikes and trucks on Kothariya Road all day long. We’ve been here long enough that most of the locals know the spot. We aren't doing anything complicated, just selling glass and tiles to people working on their houses. Usually, it’s a mix of regular builders and families trying to fix up a bathroom or a kitchen. We open up early, get the floor swept, and start organizing the glass pieces. It’s physical work. Sometimes the weather is dry and hot, which makes the warehouse part of the shop a bit stuffy, but that’s just how it goes. We don't have any big corporate slogans or anything. It’s just us here on the main road, dealing with tiles and making sure people get what they paid for. The shop stays open until late evening most days when there is work.
