Jay Casting Co. has been operating out of Aji Vasahat for many years now. If you know the 80 Feet Road area, you probably know how busy it gets with all the industrial work happening around here. Our shop isn't anything special to look at, just a solid place where we get the casting work done day in and day out. It’s hot work, and the floors are always a bit dusty, but that is just the nature of a foundry. We handle different types of metal parts depending on what the local workshops are asking for at the time. Sometimes the orders are big, sometimes it’s just a few specific pieces that someone needs in a hurry. We don't spend money on fancy signs or advertising because most people find us just by walking in or hearing about us from someone else on the road. The crew we have has been with us for a long time, so they know the machines better than anyone. We’ve had to fix things ourselves plenty of times when the old gear acts up. It's not a glamorous life, but it pays the bills and keeps us busy. We just try to get the dimensions right and make sure the metal is poured properly. If there’s a mistake, we fix it and move on. That’s how we’ve always handled things here on 80 Feet Road, and we don’t plan on changing much.
