Our place is at Plot No. 70/71, Survey No. 38/1 in Vavdi, which is just off the Gondal Road in Rajkot. If you know the area, we are situated right behind Hotel Krishna Park and near Prashant Cast. It is a bit like a maze getting back here through the narrow lanes, but once you find us, it is pretty straightforward. Sharp Cam Auto Industries is where we spend most of our time. We focus on making auto parts, specifically cams and other engine components. Rajkot is a very big center for this kind of engineering, so there are shops like ours everywhere you look. We don't really worry about what others are doing. We just focus on our own machines. We have a few CNC machines that we bought second-hand years ago. They take some maintenance to keep running, but they do the job. The floor is always a bit oily, no matter how often we try to clean it up. It is just part of working with these machines every day. We have a small crew of guys from the nearby villages who help us out. We are not a big corporation with HR people or managers. If one of the guys needs time off for a family thing, they just let me know. We try to be fair with everyone. The traffic on Gondal Road is usually a total nightmare in the evenings, so we often stay a bit late to let it clear out. It is just a normal life for us.
