Kothari Auto Industries

Kothari Auto Industries is based at 24 A/B, Bhaktinagar, GIDC in Rajkot. Being in the GIDC means we are surrounded by other factories and workshops. We are right near Ravi Metal, which is a good landmark for us. We make auto parts, so the workshop is always full of the sound of cutting and grinding. It is a very industrial atmosphere. Rajkot is famous for this kind of work. Our unit is just a standard factory space. It’s not very big but we fit all our machines in there. The floor is usually covered in metal shavings and oil. We spend the whole day on our feet. It gets very hot in the afternoons, so we usually take a break for tea when we can. We don't have a big HR department or anything like that. It’s just a group of people who know how to work the machines. We’ve been at this address for quite a while now. Most of our staff lives nearby. We just focus on the daily production targets. There is always a lot of noise and activity. We don't really have a formal office, just a small corner with a desk and some ledgers. It is a simple, hardworking place. We just keep our heads down and get the parts made and shipped out. That is how it goes every day at Kothari Auto Industries. Sometimes the machines need a lot of maintenance.
