J. K. Machine Tools

We are situated right on Gondal Road, directly opposite the Gokul Dham Society. It’s a very recognizable part of the area because of all the traffic moving in and out of the city. Being across from a residential society means we see a lot of people coming and going, but our focus is strictly on the machine tools inside. The shop isn't anything special to look at from the outside. It’s a functional space filled with various tools, grinders, and bits of machinery. We spend our days sorting through orders and making sure the equipment is in good shape. The air often smells like machine oil, which I guess is something you just get used to after a week of working here. We don’t have a lot of staff, so everyone chips in with everything from sweeping the floor to talking to people who drop by for advice. It’s a bit cramped when we get a big shipment in, but we find a way to stack things against the walls. The noise from Gondal Road is constant, but it becomes background noise after a while. We aren't trying to be the biggest shop in town. We just want to provide the tools that people need for their own projects or businesses. It’s a simple life, opening up early and closing when the work is finally finished. Sometimes we have a coffee out front and watch the cars go by. It’s just how we do things here. We keep the inventory organized on old wooden shelves.
