J. K. Engineers

We are set up over on Power House Road in the Lati Bazar area. Being in Rajkot, there is always something going on with engineering and parts. We are right opposite the Khedud Mill, which helps people find us since that’s a pretty big landmark around here. J. K. Engineers isn't some massive factory, it’s more of a practical workshop where we get our hands dirty every day. The noise from the road and the nearby mills is just part of the background noise now. We spend a lot of time working on different parts and fixing things that people bring in. It's a lot of metal and grease, to be honest. The floor is usually covered in scrap or tools, but we know where everything is kept. Rajkot is a hub for this kind of work, so there's plenty of competition, but we just focus on the job that's right in front of us. Some days are longer than others, especially when a machine breaks down or a big order comes in last minute. We don't have a receptionist or a fancy waiting room with coffee. If you come by, you’ll probably find us at the back near the lathes or the welding area. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy. We’ve been in Lati Bazar long enough to know most of the neighbors and the local tea stalls. It’s a bit of a rugged environment, but that's just the nature of engineering. We keep the machines running and try to stay productive.
