Innovative Mould Works

If you’re driving down Gondal Highway Nh 8B, you’ll find us near the old toll plaza in Kothariya. Innovative Mould Works is at 72/2. It’s a good location for us because of the highway access, though the dust from the road is a constant battle. We work with moulds, which is heavy, dirty work. The workshop is filled with various steel blocks and cutting tools. We don't have any air conditioning, just some big industrial fans that move the hot air around. It’s a hands-on business. We spend a lot of time bent over machines, making sure every cut is where it needs to be. It’s not the kind of job you can do without getting your clothes stained. The neighborhood in Kothariya is mostly other workshops and small factories. We all know each other and sometimes borrow tools or help out when a machine breaks down. We’ve been at this for several years now. The office is just a small cabin partitioned off from the main floor. We keep our records in paper files mostly. It’s a simple setup that works for the kind of stuff we do. We don't try to be something we’re not. We just make moulds and try to get them finished on time. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy from morning till late evening. We’re usually tired by the end of the shift, but it’s a good kind of tired.
