Harishita Engineering

The shop is on Plot No 4, right across from Kothariya Solvent. It’s a bit of a trek down Gondal Road, and the Kangashyali Dholda Main Road can get pretty messy when it rains. We’ve been set up here at Survey No 8 for a while now. Most days it’s just us working through whatever orders came in that morning. There is a lot of noise from the machines, and the dust from the road doesn't help much, but we get the work done. It’s not a fancy setup with a big lobby or anything like that. We spend most of our time out on the floor dealing with the actual engineering stuff. Sometimes people stop by just to ask for directions because this area can be a bit confusing with all the plots. We usually have tea around four in the evening while we look over the schedules. It is a lot of manual work and checking measurements twice so we don't have to redo things later. The sun hits the front of the building pretty hard in the afternoon, so we try to keep the shutters down a bit. We don't really do much advertising or anything like that; people mostly know we are here because they see the sign when they drive past toward the highway. It’s just a regular place where we try to keep the machines running and everything moving without making a big fuss about it. We just focus on the job at hand.
